Dennis now focuses on landscape paintings. He defines his style as “Visual Impressionism” a combination of classical drawing with impressionistic colors. Dennis has won numerous awards and his landscape painting can be found in the Bank of America of Hawaii. The workshop in oil will consist of creating a landscape painting of sky, water, land and trees within a Floridian theme.
Day 1: Starts with a sketch on canvas showing various landscape layouts. Students can bring in pictures that will individualize their composition. After a painting demonstration, students will start their own composition.
Day 2: Continue to work on their composition under Dennis’ guidance.
Supplies required: Oil paints, brushes & 16x20 canvases.
