#16, Lynne Renzenberger FRESH CUT SAN JOSE, Acrylic Judge's Comment: "I walked around the show and kept returning to this composition - the power of the flowers draws one into the picture. The contrast between the flowers and the background is the lure but so is the play between violet and yellow."
#35, Patsy Dautle FLORIDA SNOWFLAKE, Watercolor Judge's Comment: "A burst of Spring describes this, lovely flower. Always difficult to capture white and make it believable. Great use of grays and greens to bring out petals."
#23, Beth Blewett BALLOON FESTIVAL, Acrylic Judge's Comment: "Hot Air Balloons certainly capture the feeling that winter is gone. The unusual design elements of color grab one's attention and gives one a sense of adventures to come. Outstanding detail and powerful contrasts make for a compelling piece."
#39, Linda Conner FLORIDA FLORA AND FAUNA, Acrylic Judge's Comment: "A wonderful puzzle of plants and animals. The variety is exciting. The more you look at the piece - new images emerge. Color choices pull all the divergent objects together. BRAVO."

#9, Kim Carioto-Krugle THE MERCADO NURSERY, Paper Judge's Comment: "Really well crafted. Attention to detail is very obvious while at the same time it seems simple and effortless. The design of the piece, color, repetition all just works together. Very well done for something so small - Good things come in small packages."
