#2, Lynne Renzenberger RING OF FIRE, Mixed Media Judge’s Comment: “This work captures the theme in its purity of design. The intriguing technique, harmony of shapes (including negative space), feeling the visual warmth of sunlight, all combine to make this an exceptional work."

#21, Jessi Dilich LOOKING UP FOR FOOD, Oil Judge’s Comment: "A brilliant composition of rhythmic movement, strong value study, colors sensitively keyed in harmony. You sense the "Looking Up" captured by contrast of crispness and blurring."

#18, Roger Deering LOOKING UP, Colored Oil Judge’s Comment: “A stark silhouette looking up to the end-of-day sky. Such a simple statement majestically captured with the delicately rendered orange clouds against the stark blue sky."

#11, Paul David GOTTA GO WATCH THE BENT WIRE GAME, Mixed Media Judge’s Comment: “A joyful piece. You can feel yourself rushing to the surface with the swimmer. Having the subjects flowing off the canvas only adds to the exhiliration!"

#22, Kim Carioto-Krugle VINTAGE DRYER, Paper
