#10, Jessi Dilich, MOOSE, Oil Judge’s Comment: "I chose the moose for first place because animals in the wild have a calm look about them. This moose looks like he is undisturbed while watchful as animals tend to be. The hair shows the roughness that exists on a moose. On any wall that this hangs, its's gong to call attention to itself and give the impression that the moose is about to come into the room. It gives a sense of wildlife in the wild."

#3, Dannica Walker, CHARTERS, Watercolor Judge’s Comment: “This is a very consistently painted piece that moves the eye around the painting. It tells a story that brings to remembrance the sounds and scents on a pier."

#29, Donna Cole, ZEN WOLF, Ink Judge’s Comment: “This is a very well-orchestrated Zen Tangle. Showing depth and facial definition."

#39, Roger Deering, THE PRINCESS, Oil Judge’s Comment: “A good depiction of a manatee."

#17, Lynne Rehzenberger, BUZZED, Acrylic
