Our History
Supporting the arts since 1965.
The Cape Coral Art League was chartered in 1965 as a non-profit 501c3 and 501a2 charity organization to promote the advancement of art in Cape Coral and nearby areas and to enhance the ability of its memers in the creative arts.

After many years of fundraising, a studion was built in the fall of 1984 at the present location. A beautiful gallery addition was opened in /april 1991, withthe help of a State Grant. In 2002, a second art room studio was built, providing more space for classes, workshops, and various events. In 2007, renoovation of the front entrance, a new office area and a gift shop were added.
